Luke was born and raised in Canberra and completed his secondary schooling at St Edmund's College. Luke played in the first 'St Eddies' rugby team to win the Waratah Shield  an accomplishment now synonymous with the school and the foundation of Luke's natural ability to set goals, plan and achieve incredible results. While in his late teenage years, Luke had set his sights on a professional sports career, he eventually moved into selling sporting equipment and has been involved in the sales and service industry ever since.
After 10 years in this field, Luke needed a change of environment and began his real estate career with Independent Property Group in May 2001.
Looking for his first home in 1992, Luke discovered first hand that dealing with a number of real estate agents and viewing numerous properties can sometimes be stressful. Since then, along with wife Suzanne and their young family, he has engaged in several other real estate transactions providing further insights into the demands and needs of both buyers and sellers. These experiences provided Luke with the opportunity to centre his thinking on how to make real estate transactions, (buying and selling) as seamless and stress free as possible.
This very personal understanding, coupled with honesty, integrity and an innate ability to deliver the highest level of service which he considers 'second nature', have been the cornerstone of Luke's well deserved success in real estate.
Luke's commitment to service and passionate enthusiasm for property earned him Independent Property Group's major award of Established Home Lister of the Year in 2002, 2003 and 2004 and sealed his position as one of the elite performers in ACT Real Estate. This was then confirmed in October 2003 and then repeated in October 2004 when Luke was awarded the prestigious title of ACT Salesperson of the Year by the Real Estate Institute of the ACT. This was the first time anyone had ever won the award 2 years in a row.
After achieving such outstanding results Luke was then invited to become a shareholder of Independent Property Group  an invitation he accepted without hesitation.

Luke's other passion these days revolves around spending time with his young family, and this helps to keep the balance that is needed to remain fit, healthy and committed to the things that really matter. Fitting in a quick round of golf is also on the agenda when time permits!
