History
Page was named after Sir Earle Christmas Grafton Page (1880-1961). Sir Earle was elected to Federal Parliament as member for Cowper in 1918 and held his seat for forty-two years. For twenty-two of these years, he was Minister as well as being the Leader of the Country Party. He served as Deputy Prime Minister and, following the death of J.A. Lyons in 1939 acted as Prime Minister for twenty days. Sir Earle was knighted in 1938 and was the first Chancellor of the University of New England.
The suburb name "Page" was gazetted on 6 June 1968
