Chris entered the real estate industry in 1986 as a property consultant. During his sales career he achieved the top MLS Sales Consultant Award for Tasmania 3 years in a row. Chris has served on the board of the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania (REIT) for 17 years and in 1998 was elected State President, acting in that role until 2000. In addition to his role with the REIT, Chris is currently the Deputy President of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA), is the State Chairman for FIABCI - The International Real Estate Federation and was a Director of the First National Group for 4 years. To round out this already remarkable list of credentials, Chris is a Fellow of the Marketing Institute of Australia, a Certified Practicing Marketer, a Fellow of the Institute of Management, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia. Chris and his wife Julie have 3 wonderful sons and he has been involved in a variety of charitable work for many years, especially with The Cancer Council of Tasmania.
