Ford & Dougherty Property opened its doors in 1877 under the name “Henry Maurice Auctioneer” and is now the longest standing real estate agency in the Clarence Valley. The vision of owners Mike Dougherty, Chris Dougherty and Rod Ford is to provide the highest quality real estate experience to their clients, whilst utilising innovative techniques and modern marketing that is generally only available to metropolitan home owners. Their locally tailored agency is an independent brand focusing solely on the needs of the Clarence Valley. In 2015, Bailey & Gough First National was fortunate enough to merge with the longstanding LJ Hooker Grafton, and as of 2015, became known as First National Real Estate Ford & Dougherty. The Professionals Clarence Coast and First National Real Estate Ford & Dougherty merged in early 2017 to strength the level of professional service offered throughout the lower Clarence area. This merger secured over 20 years local experience and knowledge and the opening of the second Ford & Dougherty Property office.Following this merger the Ford & Dougherty Property brand was launched to give clients the best service throughout the Clarence Valley. As a business, Ford & Dougherty Property employs a combined staff of 35 highly motivated Salespeople, Property Managers, Accounting staff and skilled energetic support staff.
