Mountain House Real Estate on beautiful Tamborine Mountain was formed in 2008 in response to a genuine need for honest and ethical real estate service in its target area.   Principal and CEO Afra Hall-Beers was motivated to go into real estate after reading a book by Neil Jenman entitled "Real Estate Mistakes"   She subsequently spent a year of intensive training under the "Jenman System" which formed the foundation of her business policy of transparency, honesty and providing the highest level of service with an emphasis on low financial risk to her home sellers. Neil Jenman who built one of the most successful real estate practices in Sydney at a time of great economic downturn went on to become a well respected real estate agent trainer.   He is now very much involved in consumer advocacy helping sellers who have suffered financially as a result of unethical real estate agents using questionable systems. Originally the focus of Mountain House Real Estate was purely on Property Management and the business quickly grew to become one of the largest property management providers on Tamborine Mountain.   The service area has subsequently extended to include properties within a 30 kilometre radius. In 2011 short term Holiday Stays was added and Mountain House Real Estate is now the largest provider of private homes for weekend or special occasion stays - wedding parties and family events dominate the bookings.    Fully furnished homes are the accommodation of choice when B&B style or motel/hotel accommodation is not suitable. The Sales division was also extended in 2011 when an opportunity arose to take over an existing real estate sales focused agency.   The top sales person there was retained and now heads our sales team.
