A licensed real estate agent and Real Estate Employer's Federation Board member, Jo also holds a Bachelor of Communication and specialises in agency practice, marketing, human resources and business operations.

A dedicated volunteer, Jo is starting up a Scouts Australia Venturer group for 15-18 year olds, is a Justice of the Peace, volunteer Ethics teacher at Merimbula Public School and previously spent 10-years as a member at Pambula Surf Lifesaving Club.
She started her professional career as a broadcast journalist before transitioning into senior management in profit and not-for-profit organisations before making the "sea-change" to the far south coast nearly 20 years ago.
