It is also the oldest established real estate agency in Alice Springs having commenced trading in 1965.LJ Hooker Alice Springs is an independently owned franchise of LJ Hooker Limited. Our Company commenced trading as “LJ Hooker – Alice Springs” in July 1981, being an amalgamation of our previous entities, Tomac Real Estate (established 1965) and Central Realty (established 1976). In May 1998 LJ Hooker Alice Springs effected a joint venture merger with Asreal Real Estate Pty Ltd, the oldest established Real Estate agency in the Northern Territory, to form one of the largest Real Estate operations in the Australia wide LJ Hooker network. LJ Hooker and Asreal have been responsible for over 90% of Alice Springs’ Commercial, Industrial and Residential property developments. Major commercial developments include the Centrepoint Building, Alice Plaza, Alice Springs Shopping Centre, Lands and Housing Building and K-Mart, with residential developments including the Golf Course Estate, Carmichael Estate, Bradshaw Estate, Larapinta Estate, Araluen, Kempeana Estate, Mount John and Stirling Heights.
