Westcott Real Estate was established in 1949 by the Westcott family in Innisfail - Far North Queensland. Westcott Real Estate has continuously serviced the town of Innisfail in the areas of Real Estate sales and Real Estate rentals from the town of Cardwell to Cairns, for over half a century. The Innisfail area is primarily a farming district incorporating crops such as sugar cane, Bananas, Paw Paws (papaya), Passionfruit and imported exotic fruits. The beef cattle industry and aquaculture are important sustainable industries in the area. Innisfail boasts a large fishing fleet and industry service requirements are all situated locally. Tourism plays an important part in the area economy and Innisfail is only a short trip from The Reef and rainforest and has some of North Queensland's best beaches adjacent. Both the local sugar mills and one of the largest foundries in the Southern Hemisphere are a vital part of the local economy and they are also the biggest employers in the Johnstone Shire area. Innisfail has been steadily growing over the last five years and has become extremely important to the industries it services.
