About Mike Speakman

Professional Background | Mike has worked in the Hospitality Industry for 27 years and for the past 15 years has held senior roles with Australia's largest hotel chains as a Development Manager. After 10 years living in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, Mike and his family returned to Tasmania in 2001 to take up a Senior Management Role with the Federal Group. Mike's passion for Real Estate has grown over recent years after a number of personal ventures and felt a career in the industry would be an exciting challenge. Mike believes that every client or customer's experience should be memorable and exceed their expectations. Family | Mike and his wife Tina have been together since 1990 and have three children. Hobbies & Interests | Mike has for many years had an interest in home renovation and has just completed their family home. Tinkering with old cars, fishing and golf are all interests that take second place to family responsibilities. Other Details |Mike has been a Board Member of Variety the children's charity since 2002 and was elected Chairman in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
