Rae was born at Point Lookout and met her husband, Terry, on Cylinder Headland in 1969. Rae and her family moved permanently back to the island in 1989. Rae has been involved in real estate on Straddie for in excess of 20+ years and has been the Principal of Ray White Nth Stradbroke Island for the past 15+ years.
