The name "Village Building" was adopted because the Company prides itself on not just servicing land and building homes, but on creating communities or villages. Village seeks to achieve a sense of community by offering a variety of housing types catering to different lifestyles, age demographics and budgets, and by providing a high level of infrastructure and amenity within the Company's developments. Since the Company's inception 34 years ago, Village has developed over 18,000 dwellings being a mixture of serviced blocks of land, houses, townhouses and apartments. The Company has its head office in Canberra where it first started, and Regional Offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Major projects have been undertaken in each of these capital cities as well as in Queanbeyan, Coffs Harbour, Orange and Wollongong and on the Queensland Sunshine Coast. The Village Building Co. Limited is an unlisted public company with a well credentialed, long serving Board, experienced management team and a strong corporate governance culture. Our mission is to create profitable, well planned, highly livable and environmentally responsible urban communities predominantly within Australia's Eastern Capital Cities.
