Buy this lavish mansion, and you could end up bumping into Barack Obama on bin night.
The posh pad is a few doors down from the former US President’s holiday house in Waimanalo, Hawaii.
Obama and his wife, Michelle, have been holidaying at a beach house down the road for over a decade.
It is half-an-hour east of Honolulu, where Obama was born.

In 2015, Marty Nesbitt, a businessman and close personal friend of the Obamas, bought the property for over $US8.7 million ($13.1 million).
He knocked down the existing building and constructed three brand-new mansions on the site – one of which has since been bought by the Obama family.
Now a neighbouring estate has hit the market for $US24.9 million ($38.1 million).
It is less than a minute’s drive from the Obama compound, according to real estate agent Caron Davis.

The ten-bedroom property at 41-471 Kalanianaole Highway was built in 2022.
It is a high-end home with views over Pahonu Beach and Manama Island.
There are several residences scattered across the gated estate: the main house, a three-bedroom guest cottage, and two-bedroom cottage and a small studio.
The main house abounds with luxury features, from a giant wine room to a gourmet kitchen with custom walnut cabinetry.

A formal library houses a grand piano, while sliding glass doors make the most of the tropical sea views.
The property is surrounded by swaying banana trees and sits in the shadow of the rugged Koolau Mountains.
“This irreplaceable compound offers its next owner the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular lifestyle with family and friends in a magnificent oceanfront setting,” the listing says.
