Our split level tastefully furnished one bedroom apartment sits in front of the main buildings.
The kitchen and lounge area flow onto a private outdoor patio. Upstairs a king bed dominates the bedroom with views of the Coral Sea. The bathroom and laundry are located upstairs, as well as a terrace where you can relax the day away, enjoying uninterrupted views across the beach to Dunk Island.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need to make your holiday as relaxing as possible, and to stock up, Woolworth's is just a 5 minute drive away.
Access to the first floor is via a spiral staircase, and is therefore not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Local restaurants are within walking distance, with several located at Mission Beach Village, just 5km north of Wongalinga.
You can do as much or as little of what you like on your holiday at Wongalinga. The water taxi is just down the beach to take you to nearby islands for a day or exploring with a picnic lunch, you can snorkel or dive off the Great Barrier Reef, or try your hand at kayaking, sailing, fishing, croc spotting, bird watching or bush walking. Want more excitement? Try white water rafting, skydiving or jet skiing.
Otherwise, just relax and sit by the resort pool and soak up some sunshine.
