Crooks Racecourse is bordered by the headwaters of the Gungarlin River running down one of its boundaries with access off Happy Jacks Road.
The undulating high country of the Snowy Mountains in this region is breath taking. From high country summer grazing plains with elevation to 1680 meters. You could ski tour in the winter and fish all the different rivers in the region in the summer. Crooks Racecourse borders the Kosciuszko National Park. Land is Approximately 1,395 acres.
Access to the public is limited with a locked gate controlling to owners and National Park personnel.
