Reid record-breaker

A timeless three-bedroom property in Reid has broken the sales record for the suburb prior to auction on Saturday.

The home at 25 Elimatta Street is within the heritage-listed Reid Housing Precinct.

The home sold prior to auction this week for $1.9 million through Independent Property Group Woden and Weston Creek agent Jonathan Charles.

It beat the previous record for the suburb by $100,000.

Number 49 Booroondara Street in Reid sold for $1.8 million in 2010.
