This amazing property is situated atop the Blue Tier Ranges and includes its own peak (Handley Peak), elevation 818 metres above sea level along with an ancient myrtle rainforest which provides the head for many of the rivers and streams which flow into the Weldborough Valley and also the Pyengana area.
This mountain is the highest point in the Blue Tier ranges and offers totally surreal views towards the East Coast and south towards Mt Victoria, Mt Albert and west back towards Weldborough, Grays Hill, Mt Paris and Star of Peace ranges. It offers an Alpine climate with undulating topography and a portion of the property has been cleared with the balance mix of Myrtle rain forest, Eucalyptus and Wattle forests.
The property is accessible by a four wheel driving track which takes you close to the base of Handley Peak. Located around 70km from Scottsdale, 44km from St Helens, 22km from Derby, home of the Blue Derby mountain bike tracks and around 8km to the Blue Tier mountain bike tracks which descend to the Bay of Fires or Weldborough.
