"The Laurels" is one of Northern Tasmania's most recognisable Georgian homes, built c.1835 on what was originally a 38-acre holding for local innkeeper John Williat. Over nearly two centuries, it has followed a remarkable journey and remains a rare and highly authentic example of Tasmanian early-colonial architecture. Few homes in the state offer this level of history, character and integrity.
