If it is fresh crisp air, clean mountain water, and wide-open spaces you are looking for then this is the opportunity for you. Tullah Tavern is located on the Murchison Highway in Tullah Tasmania. Tullah is a town in the northern part of the West Coast Range, on the west coast of Tasmania, about 97 km south of Burnie. Tullah Tavern is situated on 1.45 acres of land in the heart of "old Tullah". The tavern hosts the longest straight bar in Tasmania at 23.5 meters long. There are currently three units attached to the premises used for accommodation. The tavern hosts a café for lunch and dinner meals.

The building itself is two storey. The ground floor houses the tavern, café, and bar. There is seating for 50 guests. The pool table and dart board for entertainment and the large open fireplace are inviting features for those cold winter days. There is ample storage room behind the bar area and the kitchen has two large storage rooms for produce.

The second floor is the owner's residence. There are two separate living areas with the first being a (6 square) two-bedroom unit. The newly renovated area has a bathroom and a large living area. It has been plastered and freshly painted. The unit has a separate entry and is currently being rented out via Bookings and Airbnb.. It does not have a kitchen but this could easily be added. There are another three bedrooms with the largest being approximately 5.2 squares and consisting of a bedroom with built-in robes, an ensuite', and a sitting room. The second bedroom has a built-in robe and the bathroom is shared with the third bedroom. All bedrooms have been freshly painted.

Tullah is surrounded by Mount Black to the north, Mount Farrell to the east, and Mount Murchison to the south and is on the doorstep of the Tarkine National Park. It is a small picturesque town surrounded by natural beauty. Located on the edge of Lake Rosebery where boating and fishing are popular local pastimes. There are numerous bushwalking tracks through the mountains and parks. Tullah is also home to the Wee Georgie Wood which is the oldest steam train in Tasmania.

Tullah is a peaceful former mining town, surrounded by a beautiful landscape of lakes, rivers, and mountain ranges. Just 15 minutes drive from Tullah is Montezuma Falls, Tasmania's highest waterfall. Tullah is situated within the Tarkine Forest Reserve which is a huge area of temperate rainforest, sand dunes, and coastal heath-land. Though not designated as a national park, the area contains a wildly diverse landscape. Just 30 minutes north of Tullah sits Cradle Mountain which is ranked 7 in the top 10 of Australia's most visited places. Cradle Mountain is part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area and one of Tasmania's most accessible and interesting places.
