Water Resources: Existing Water Licences : The property has a ground water licence for 16 Meg of ground water licence included. Licence 3911-0 from the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources. Subject to availability of water resources, the licence permits to take 16 Meg of water for irrigation from the underground water source of a well in the Barossa Prescribed Water Resources Area. A bore for irrigation. The owner has advised that the underground water quality has a salinity measurement of approximately 1,500 milligrams of salinity per litre (mg/l) of water. The water quality is considered to be below average. The water allocation of 30 ML for irrigation purposes is for the whole existing property (4 titles). The 16 Meg included in Vineyard sale is adequate for the vines included.
Water Infrastructure: Water is pumped from the bore directly to the vines via a drip irrigation system. The irrigation pump is electric, filters, Vari-speed 3 phase convertor fertigation system and water conditioner to the system.
Stock water: A second bore on Lot 21 connected to a 20,000 gallon holding tank is not serviceable at the moment but the tank is connected to irrigation bore & can be used for stock water.
