Welcome to Student Shack! Growth in the Student Accommodation industry is continually on the rise in Newcastle, with the Callaghan Campus completing its new accommodation of over 700 rooms in 2015 and the completion of NewSpace which opened its doors in 2017. Further research suggests that an increase in student numbers will create opportunities for developers and investors to build and invest in student accommodation. As these numbers rise, the need for suitable and affordable accommodation that is both modern and well equipped and also close to campus is becoming high on the priority list. The demand for quality is also increasing. While some Real Estate agencies are providing Student Accommodation services on an ‘ad-hoc’ basis, in most cases, the marketing of rooms and facilities & the property presentation were well below an acceptable standard, as was the quality of service and the attention to detail required to effectively manage the unique relationships. As leaders in the Real Estate Industry, we recognised the growth of Student Accommodation demand and together with our dissatisfaction of the service provided to students by current agents Student Shack was created; A new, young, hip brand that will target young student enquiry and offer premium facility and tenancy management services. Student shack manages a range of quality student accommodation facilities from Newcastle inner city precinct to the outer suburbs surrounding the Newcastle University Callaghan campus. Our goal is to provide exceptional services to our clients that is unique and superior to our competitors. Not only do we love what we do, we want you to have a well-informed, professional and positive experience.
