David is the 2nd generation of Chapmans to be involved in the business having joined the company in 1989 and becoming the Managing Director in 2000. A qualified lawyer, David graduated from Macquarie University, taking out the University Prize in Finance and Securities. David has extensive experience in both residential and commercial sales, at one time holding the record for the highest sale price achieved in Lake Macquarie. Married with four children, he is a supporter of Merewether Carlton Rugby Club, having captained the First Grade side to it's last premiership in 1989 and being club captain and President for some time.
