Plenty of agents will make promises about service and results. And while they’re talking, Michael and his team at Ray White Maitland are delivering, achieving a higher average sale price in around half the average time-frame across the local area.
“We’re often up against agents who quote higher sale prices and lower commissions, which can sound very enticing at first glance, even though no agent can guarantee the eventual sale price. Unfortunately, over-promising at the listing presentation and under-delivering on the result is one of the reasons our industry has such a bad name,” says Michael.
“But fortunately, it’s also one of the reasons Ray White Maitland is growing so fast, because we won’t make false promises just to get business. We’re building our reputation on honesty and our measure of success is the level of respect our past clients have for the work we do.”
From its humble beginnings in 2003, Michael’s business has continued to go from strength to strength. During the challenging market conditions of 2010 to 2011 alone, where more than 10,000 real estate agents left the industry, Ray White Maitland’s market share quadrupled. In a marketplace that’s characterised by no less than 24 competing real estate agencies, his young and energetic team is now the listing agent for one in every ten properties in the local area.
“Our clients are entrusting us with what is often not only their most valuable asset but also their family home. We do everything we can to warrant that trust, using effective and proven processes that are specifically designed to achieve the best possible outcome with the least amount of stress.”
“Maitland is my home and real estate is my passion. We’re here for the long term and prepared to work harder to be the best.”
