About Sandy Shen

Sandy’s bi-lingual skills are an important asset in servicing Morton & Morton’s many Chinese-speaking clients. Originally from Shanghai, China, Sandy entered the real estate industry five years ago, and initially worked for Jones Lang LaSalle in Shanghai, firstly as a Customer Services Officer based onsite in a luxury residential building, and then as an Assistant Property Manager in the company’s head office. Today, she is a Property Manager at Morton & Morton’s Hurstville office, and is the only onsite agent at the new East Quarter development, working alongside building management, developers and builders. Having graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Master of Commerce - and currently studying for her Real Estate License - Sandy chose to work in real estate because of the people. It was an opportunity for her to meet lots of new people and learn more about how Australians live. She chose to work at Morton & Morton due to its renowned company culture and positive working environment. Known for her cheerful and charming disposition, Sandy takes great pride in her role within the property management team, and her clients delight in her professionalism, responsibility, attention to detail and genuine consideration for them. Living less than a kilometre from the Hurstville office, Sandy knows all there is to know about the area in which she works. On the weekends however, Sandy takes every opportunity she can to learn more about Australia and enjoys shopping, catching up with friends and driving to the beaches and national parks in her little yellow Beetle. Travelling is a passion of Sandy’s and she loves exploring mysterious and historic places. Among her past international trips are destinations such as Egypt and Angkor Wat in Cambodia. In 2007, Sandy returned to Shanghai as a volunteer with Special Olympics Australia for the World Games.
