The house and garden are a tribute to Annie’s determination that began with finding the home in an almost derelict condition and with next-to-no garden.

“It was about 15 years old at the time, and there were even animals roaming through it,” she says.

Annie set herself a new project every year to bring the home back and to fit it into her ideal of a perfectly designed landscape.
