Whether you’re on the hunt for a new home or just need some daydream inspiration, these four South Australian beauties sure are a good place to start.

Hello dream house. This stunning sandstone villa is pretty much faultless in my eyes and has been impeccably styled and renovated. What I love about it is that you can tell it’s been furnished by the owners and not a style for sale company.

Don’t get me wrong, I am a big fan of using a styling agency to do your home for photos and inspections because it can make a huge difference to the look and sale price.

But I do love seeing how people style their own homes (when they have a budget like this!) and this home has been done beautifully.

I also adore the Hamptons-style kitchen and bathrooms, which are my style exactly. In fact, this whole home is my style exactly and I’d move in in a heartbeat. Sadly I don’t think the price will be my style exactly. But a girl can dream; about those parquetry floorboards, formal gardens, swimming pool … Yes, this home is a stunner.

This home didn’t excite me that much from the front, but step inside and it’s been beautifully done.

The wrap-around design style means every room is filled with light and much of the home looks over the garden and in-ground pool.

I’m in love with the herringbone oak floors, which give it a look of total luxury and the modern kitchen and bathrooms are both contemporary and classic.

The styling is magazine-worthy and the plantation shutters finish the rooms off beautifully. A very pretty house indeed.

47 Hindmarsh Square, Adelaide

1501/47 Hindmarsh Square

This apartment sits high above Hindmarsh Square, with city and Hills views to die for.

If you want to be in the middle of the action you can’t get better than this, with 180-degree views giving you a magnificent vista from every room.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms it’s a good size, with the marble splash-back in the kitchen having real wow factor.

But really it’s about the views. Sit on the balcony and take in the vista as day turns to night, what more could you want!

5 Musgrave Street, Goodwood

What a cute little place with reno potential this one is.

This stone fronted symmetrical cottage in popular Goodwood, a location near the city, showgrounds and Unley, is a great entry level into a sought after suburb.

With a big backyard it has plenty of possibility to either do a quick surface renovation and tidy up the gardens, or extend and make the most of the space.

I’d probably do a quick reno to start with and rent it out for a while and then possibly extend it down the track. In a suburb like this you couldn’t lose with either option and for that reason this one is bound to get snapped up quickly.
