Television personality and uber-collector Ellen DeGeneres brings her design prowess to her new line, ED. Photo: Paddle8

There are some who dabble in real estate, buying a house here and there, renovating and designing sporadically – then there’s Ellen DeGeneres.

DeGeneres is widely known to be passionate about many things, but two things really stand out; animal welfare and real estate. With these two passions combined, an auction for Paddle8 where proceeds go on to support the Humane Society of the United States manifested.

Showcasing a reflection of her renowned design vision, this auction features pieces handpicked from DeGeneres’ personal collection, as well as vintage art, design, and furniture items that have inspired her new home line, ED

Highlights of the sale include a pair of 1940s Beechwood and leather chairs, a 1961 architect’s desk, a 1950s cantilevered pendant light, and a life-size model of a pit pony (don’t mind if we do!)

The auction is open for bidding until September 22. Here are the items on our wish list.
