A US billionaire’s four-month quest to sell his mega-mansion is nearing an end.
Pharmaceuticals businessman Randall J Kirk first listed the sprawling nine-bedroom, 19 bathroom estate in Manalapan, Florida last September.
The asking price for the property – which has both ocean and lake views – was $US134 million ($199,500,000).
Two months after it hit the market, the listing was quietly removed.

The property made headlines last week after the home reemerged on the market, this time with a $US44 million ($65 million) discount.
Now Kirk has reportedly found a buyer for the giant estate, according to Realtor.com.
No details about a sale have been made public yet, but the online listing indicates the home is under offer.
The buyer’s final offer remains unknown.
The property at 820 South Ocean Boulevard, Manalapan sits on two acres of land and offers both ocean and lake frontage.
Over 2601 square metres of floor space are on offer – about 11 times the size of the average new Australian house.
There are also two swimming pools, a tennis court, a six-car garage, wine cellar, cinema room, gym, music room, sauna and a separate guesthouse.
Carved timber and Grecian-style columns feature prominently in the interior, which is flooded with natural light from the arched windows.
The listing by Premier Estate Properties bills it as “one of the most important residences to ever become available in South Florida”.
Famed musician Billy Joel and tech billionaire Larry Ellison are among Manalapan’s past and present residents.
Kirk, who has a net worth of $US1.7 billion ($2.53 billion), paid $US25.5 million ($37.9 million) for the pad, according to public price records.
