The Canberra real estate market is riding high on the back of very strong property sales in 2015 and high levels of consumer confidence in the Canberra economy as a whole.  

While other areas of the Australian market are cooling, the Canberra market is bucking the trend with strong buyer inquiries and limited stock coming to market to satisfy the demand.

Like most agents in the market I think the first six months of 2016 will see a continuation of high auction clearance rates and record sales in many areas.
