The Canberra property market remains in a strong position with home values up 6 per cent compared with January 2015.

Our office is continuing to see properties in our marketplace attracting very strong interest during our sale marketing campaigns.

Inner city units are holding their value well against strong competition from new developments across the inner suburbs.

As Canberra’s population expands, the suburbs considered central are spreading further out, with the Weston Creek and Woden areas becoming increasingly desirable for buyers looking for convenience of location and the character of an established suburb.

Ahead in 2016 we will see a high demand for family homes in the Woden/Weston creek area – we have already seen evidence of this trend in our office’s high auction clearance rates of 2016 to date.
