It was the adjacent horse paddocks that drew Christian and Selina Jansen to Kathner Street 11 years ago.

The couple had moved from Murrumbateman and it was one of the few places in Canberra you could live alongside horses.

Christian says it’s a wonderful suburb to live in, whether you own horses like Selina, or if you just enjoy the peaceful outlook.

“The area has been fantastic and we get beautiful sunsets here regularly,” Christian says.

The house is a low-maintenance entertainer with large living areas and spacious bedrooms.

“We have a beautiful aspect where we get the morning sun streaming through in the winter,” Christian says.

He says the family of four is looking for a house that will be well equipped for his home business.

“It’s going to be a shame to move,” Christian says.

“It it wasn’t because of my business we wouldn’t be moving.”
