The Real Estate Institute of Australia has announced the winners of the 15th National Awards for Excellence and REIACT members have taken out four of the 20 categories.
The ACT was well represented with Guy Randell of Burgess Rawson named Commercial Salesperson of the Year and Independent receiving three awards with Hannah Gill of Independent Property Management winning the Operational Leadership Award; Kimberly Nugent, also of Independent Property Management, winning Residential Property Manager of the Year; and Independent taking home the Innovation Award for 2020.

REIACT president Michael Kumm said the institute was extremely proud and excited for the winners and the ACT again putting the nation’s capital on the map.
”Year after year our member agencies and their staff demonstrate their exceptional industry knowledge, best practice and professionalism to the rest of the nation.”

Mr Kumm also acknowledged the incredible efforts of all ACT finalists and their dedication to practising real estate here in Canberra.
Due to the measures currently in place surrounding the coronavirus, the event that was planned to be held in Darwin on April 2 was cancelled. REIA president Adrian Kelly said while this was disappointing, it was inevitable for the safety and wellbeing of all concerned.
“Industry professionals from across Australia entered the REIA National Awards and we saw winners from each of the states and territories highlighting there are outstanding achievers everywhere,” Mr Kelly said.
