Situated on the waterfront of Lake Ginninderra, Geocon’s Republic is Canberra’s largest mixed-use precinct, blending city skylines with new levels of residential amenity.
Two of the development’s releases, Dusk and Republic have already welcomed new owners through their front doors, while High Society, the second stage of the precinct is currently under construction and due for completion in late 2020.
Nightfall is the third and final release for the precinct, bringing with it 334 architecturally designed one and two-bedroom apartments across 22 levels, along with a handful of commercial opportunities that tie this exciting precinct together.
“A large part of our campaign for Republic revolves around the daily life a resident can experience during the day and the night,” says agent Matt Nicholls, of Geocon.
“It’s time for Canberrans to enjoy a new way of living – a lifestyle that provides convenience and fun whilst still delivering a stylish, private haven to retreat to.
“We wanted to express that your lifestyle living here doesn’t end as the night falls. There is so much to enjoy with the exclusive amenities of the development and the buzzing hub of the precinct below,” he says.
Slightly different from its predecessors, Nightfall features a stunning glazing facade, topped with a kinetic screen feature that encompasses the outline of Lake Ginninderra.
Inside there are 30 floor plans to choose from, some with views towards the lake, others with views towards Black Mountain and the Brindabellas, all of which maximise natural light.
“Our internal design team were excited about the schemes and upgrades on Nightfall,” says Mr Nicholls.
“Two colour schemes are available, Lunar (darker) and Solar (lighter), both have their own personality and are easily adaptable to your own personal style.”
The building also comes equipped with a private sky park for residents, including a kitchen and dining area with al fresco, barbecue and open outdoor spaces.
It’s the ultimate venue for your next birthday celebration. Or, when you want to have more than a couple of friends over for dinner, forget squeezing them around your four-person dining table, simply book the kitchen and dining facilities for an easy (and spacious) at-home dinner party.
You could say that just moments from Nightfall are plenty of commercial and retail offerings within the Belconnen town centre or along the lake. But really, with the amenity available within the precinct, there really won’t be much of a need to leave at all.
A Woolworths Metro sits at the base of High Society next door, so grocery shops can be taken care of between parking your car and unlocking your front door. There are also a large Asian supermarket and an amazing array of restaurants and cafes including a pub and pizza place.
Expected completion is the end of 2021, with residents to move in at the start of 2022.

Feature we love: Apart from work, there is no real need to leave the precinct. A barista-made coffee or weekend brunch is just metres away and a daily walk around the lake will keep your mental health in check.
