Ashston is expected to be completed in May 2020.

Here’s a piece of information for your next trivia night – the stone Ashstone’s full name is Narrabundah Ashstone Member. Not only does it share a name with the ACT suburb, but it’s also part of the Canberra formation of rocks that is commonly found across Eastern Narrabundah and towards Fyshwick.

For developer AIT Properties Group, it seemed only fitting that this chic, pale brown stone be the muse for their new Narrabundah development – Ashstone.

Ashstone is made up of eight boutique three-bedroom townhomes, with up to three bathrooms and as many as five enclosed car spaces.

Ashstone is located at Lindsay Street, Narrabundah.

Designed by award-winning architects DNA Architects, the homes have been designed as Inner South sanctuaries. Sleek clean lines embrace modern architecture, with a minimalism that pushes the design boundaries.

Sophistication exudes from every corner of the homes, highlighted with luxurious styling to compete with your favourite design shows or magazine.

Engineered European oak floors feature throughout all the living areas, while wool carpets provide warmth and comfort in the bedrooms. Running on theme, stone benchtops feature throughout the homes and windows are double-glazed.

A light and dark colour scheme have been chosen due to their neutral nature and long-term appeal.

Immaculate kitchens offer facilities for the most discerning home chefs including 900-millimetre gas cooktop, built-in microwave with grill and a built-in pyrolytic (self-cleaning) oven.

Cooking is made all the more easy with Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets located just over the road.

Outside, low-maintenance gardens in the al fresco area and extensive grounds allows for relaxing and unwinding on weekends.

“The beauty of this unique development is also its flexibility and the luxury of offering each residence the option to have their own private plunge pool, and lift in their home,” says agent Mario Sanfrancesco of Blackshaw Projects.

Floor plans can be adjusted to suit buyers’ needs, for example, the main bedroom can be moved to the ground floor to create privacy away from the additional two bedrooms. And because we know Canberra’s winters can be torturous, there’s also the option of adding an electric fireplace to the living area.

“New owners can relish in a lifestyle change and the convenience of living only a 300-metre walk to some of Canberra’s most popular cafes and fine dining restaurants at the local Griffith shops, such as Aubergine, Gryphons cafe and pub and Rubicon,” says Sanfrancesco.

“Enjoy a short drive to other central shopping precincts close by such as Manuka Village and Kingston.”

Parents are also spoilt for choice, with reputable schools within arm’s reach, including St Edmund’s College, St Clare’s College, Canberra Grammar School and Telopea Park School.

Ashstone is located at Lindsay Street, Narrabundah.

“The development is boutique and you could easily lock up and leave and have peace of mind with security,” Sanfrancesco added.

Sanfrancesco says Ashstone will appeal to anyone who is downsizing, upsizing or just wanting to relocate to the Inner South.
