Specialists and allied health professionals have an opportunity to be part of Bruce’s growing reputation as a medical hub.
The Canberra Specialist Medical Centre is under construction with completion anticipated by the end of the year.
Icon Cancer Care will join radiology specialists Qscan and the University of Canberra as anchor tenants in the building being purpose built by Cornerstone Building Developments for Australia’s largest dedicated cancer care provider, the Icon Group.
Just three tenancies remain in the high specification, three-storey building; one at 96 square metres, and the others at 396 square metres, and 927 square metres.
Leasing agent Troy McGuinness, of JLL, says customised size requests would be considered.
He says the Canberra Specialist Medical Centre presents a great opportunity to join some of Australia’s best medical operators.
“It’s a purpose-built medical hub. backed by an exceptional location,” McGuinness says.
“We believe the facility presents a significant opportunity for new and existing businesses.”
The new development will be within the University of Canberra campus, close to Belconnen’s major hospitals, the UC Public Hospital and Calvary Hospital.
The building will feature two radiation therapy bunkers for linear accelerators, the latest in radiation therapy technology, delivering pinpoint accuracy in treating solid tumours.
A 15-chair day oncology unit will also deliver chemotherapy and treatment for blood disorders.
