A $500,000 building site is for sale in the Welsh countryside.
The historic stone cottage would once have been somebody’s three-bedroom home, but it has since been reclaimed by nature.
A thick curtain of ivy cloaks the entire east wall of the house.
The foliage is so dense tendrils have even made their way indoors, curling around the stone mullions and panelled ceilings.

The bare walls are green with moss where flakes of plaster have peeled away.
The cottage – called Precelli View – is in Rhosfach, a rural locality in Pembrokeshire about 15 minutes north of the small village of Clynderwen.
It’s an isolated part of Britain dotted with ancient stone circles, castles and the odd llama sanctuary.
The listing by West Wales Properties is upfront about the property’s rundown condition.
It bills it as a “derelict detached house” and notes “buyers enter at own risk”.

While Precelli View may not be liveable in its present state, it could appeal to those looking for a Grand Designs-style restoration project.
“Whether you’re an investor, self-builder, or looking to create your forever home, the site offers flexibility and a wealth of possibilities,” the listing reads.
Buyers will need to seek planning permission before undertaking any changes.
Regardless of which path the future owners take, they will have their work cut out for them.
The timber-panelled dining room is littered with wood from where the wainscoting has slid off the walls.
Elsewhere, there are big square holes in the ceiling, shards of glass, scraps of old wallpaper and antique furniture.
Outside is a nearly two-acre paddock plus a small outbuilding.
The property will head to auction on 11 December with a guide price of £250,000 ($505,000).
