Four Sydney mums who banded together to snap up a five-level holiday retreat are set to become instant millionaires when the property sells.

The close friends – who met through their children – had dreamed about buying a waterfront home. They splashed cash on the Daleys Point pad, on the NSW Central Coast, in 2021.

Shirley, one of the friends, said they bought the seven-bedroom property off a couple who built the home with plans to host parties and events.

The friends banded together to buy the luxury NSW retreat.

“Its previous owner, a professional concert pianist from Europe, and her husband built the residence with a vision to host their close friends and grand corporate events,” Shirley said in a statement.

The property is just over an hour’s drive from Sydney, making it the perfect weekend retreat.

“Every bedroom even has its own balcony with water views, which made waking up here feel like a true escape,” she said.

The five-level, seven-bedroom home has a price guide in the range of $4 million.

She added what makes the home so special is “the sheer variety of things” to enjoy.

“There’s a resort-style swimming pool where the kids would spend hours, and a full-size tennis court for friendly matches,” she said.

“We also loved the unique basketball and squash court combination, along with a games area that included ping pong and a pool table.”

The indoor squash court.

She said there’s also a grand piano, karaoke room and a library for those quieter moments.

“Over the years, the families created treasured memories at the home, often spending holidays and Christmases there together,” she added.

As well as the main house, they have access to a private jetty with a boat ramp and boathouse.

As their children have grown older, and life became busier, the friends decided to sell up.

“It’s such a special place, but we simply don’t get here as often anymore,” Shirley said.

“It’s time for someone else to enjoy it as much as we did.”

The view.

The property was last sold in 2021, when the friends paid $3.7 million.

The home is on the market through expressions of interest with Matthew Kidd with Ray White Bensville and Empire Bay.

It has a price guide in the $4 million range.
