If you want to live in a presidential-worthy mansion at a fraction of the cost, now is your chance.
Donald Trump’s former estate in Greenwich, Connecticut has had its asking price dropped by a whopping $34.9million.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the sprawling property was listed for $US54million ($78.1million) back in 2014 and is now on offer for $US29.9million ($43.2million).
Listed by Brown Harris Stevens, the grand abode was once the home of former US President Trump and his late ex-wife Ivana.
Ivana kept the property, which she decorated, after her and Trump’s 1992 divorce, and it was purchased by its current owners in 1998 for a cool $US15million ($21.7million).
Built in 1939, the mansion occupies nearly six acres and boasts incredible waterfront views.
There is certainly room to move with a whopping 24 rooms in total, including 11 bedrooms, 15-and-a-half bathrooms, a gym, games room and ample living areas.
The future buyer can keep active with the home’s sprawling front and rear yards that are manicured to perfection, the waterfront tennis court, outdoor pool and indoor lap pool.
The current owners renovated the property back in 2000 to include the indoor pool and accommodate for several guest areas.
Interiors take on a presidential feel with a grand foyer boasting a statement staircase, soaring ceilings and polished timber floorboards.
The aesthetic is a mix of regal and contemporary with timber walls, a marble kitchen with chandeliers, rich patterned carpet, lattice windows and ornate window frames.
Ivana passed away on July 14 at age 73 from injuries sustained after a fall.
She was Trump’s first wife and they share three children: Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump.
