Is this the world’s worst bathroom?

If you have ever wanted to test your relationship, pack your bags and move to the US where one of the world’s strangest bathrooms awaits.

Two toilets sit side-by-side, each with their own loo roll.

It is like a public bathroom stall, but taken one step further, as no dividing wall separates the toilets from each other.

In lieu of traditional tiles, the floor is covered in plush salmon carpet – the shade presumably chosen to hide a world of sins.

The toilets look onto a matching pair of his-and-hers sinks, placed below a large mirror.

Two entrances placed at either end of the room indicate the bathroom forms part of a corridor. Only one of the entrances has a door.

The bathroom attracted attention on social media, with users torn over the unusual layout.

“I can’t even look my husband in the eye after he comes out of a regular bathroom,” one person commented.

Another person wrote: “It’s a choice. Not one I’d make, but some couples have ‘comfort’ levels way beyond mine”.

It is not the only bathroom in this 1980s log house in a semi-rural pocket of Oregon.

The main bathroom is home to a timber-slat bathtub with a hot pink bathmat and matching fuschia sofa.

The house sits on 1.39 acres of land, including a large garage, machine shed and several established fruit trees.

“Nestled in a serene neighbourhood, this charming log home features two spacious bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms, spread over an impressive 3,084 square feet,” the listing reads.

“Situated on a generous 1.39+/- acre city lot this home offers both space and convenience for a delightful lifestyle.”

The house is on the market for $US385,000 ($594,000) following a recent price cut.
