Former Married at First Sight star Cameron Merchant has listed his Kirribilli apartment for $900,000 as he and wife Jules Robinson prepare for the upcoming arrival of their baby later this year.

The art deco apartment hit the market just a week after the couple moved out of Robinson’s rented apartment in Double Bay, as recently documented to Robinson’s almost 300,000 Instagram followers.

The stars of Nine’s 2018 hit reality show are planning to upgrade to a larger family home closer to the beach later this year.

Merchant was better known as a cricketer when he bought the one-bedder in a block of 14 for $941,000 in 2017.

A year later he and Robinson were matched as husband and wife on Nine’s hit reality TV show. Nine is also the majority owner of Domain.

They were the only couple to remain “married” after the experiment finished, and legally tied the knot in November 2019.

Jordan Black and Nigel Mukhi, of Di Jones, have set a June 13 auction for the ground-floor apartment.

The apartment is one of 14 in the art deco block.

Given almost $40,000 in stamp duty on his initial purchase, the apartment is not expected to offer any capital return.

Black said Merchant had mulled converting it into a two-bedder given it has a separate study and lounge room, but was advised to instead list it as is, ahead of a home upgrade later this year.

The apartment itself made an appearance on the 2018 season of Married at First Sight as Merchant’s home in the home-stay week.

Merchant, who plays first grade cricket for Manly, still owns a Dee Why investment pad he bought in 2014 for $720,000.
