Agent View: No 'one-size fits all' for property presentation

One of the first questions that my clients ask is “What should we do before selling”? The answer can be more complicated than you think.

There is no one size fits all when it comes to property presentation, but I find the best way to improve your equity position or even just the all-round liveability is to use a quality approach rather than a Band-Aid fix.

It is important to make sure you have an unbiased set of eyes look over your home that understands the marketplace and has a close relationship with tradespeople to ensure that you don’t overpay for their services.

The hard work that you and your agent put into the home’s presentation can pay dividends, as long as the process has been well thought out, implemented and, most importantly, not rushed.
