Anthony Gianotti was appointed chief bean counter of Wesfarmers in May, which would make now a good time for he and his wife Rosemarie to relocate a little closer to the conglomerate’s head office in Perth’s Wesfarmers House.

Given the almost 4000 kilometres that separates Mosman NSW and Perth, the couple have set an August 26 auction on their Inkerman Street home and a guide of $5.9 million to $6.3 million.

Gianotti, who is currently deputy chief financial officer of the conglomerate, replaces chief financial officer Terry Bowen when he steps down later this year.

The promotion comes two years after he bought his 963-square-metre property overlooking Quakers Hat Bay for $4.9 million, setting a then street record.

There’s been a lavish renovation on the three-level home since, including a new kitchen and living areas opened up.

The five-bedroom home with three separate living areas is listed with Richard Simeon, of Simeon Manners, who sold it last time.
