Liz Chen’s move to the Highgate development should be an easy one, as she will be moving from the neighbouring Waldorf complex.
“It’s right next door to the Waldorf, but it’s an upgrade,” Liz says. “My apartment at the Waldorf is a bit older. It has one bedroom and a study, but it’s only 48 square metres.”
Liz has called the Waldorf home for eight years and says she is ready for a change and some extra space.
“My new apartment is 77 square metres internally and there’s a 13-square metre balcony. Price-wise, it’s pretty similar in terms of the square metre rate.”
Liz secured her apartment during the VIP pre-release ahead of the development’s official launch.
She says the two-bedroom en suite apartment is north-facing and will afford a nice view from the ninth floor. The apartment’s contemporary design was another drawcard and she says the on-site amenity is also an upgrade from her current apartment.
Liz was keen to stay in the city because she enjoys the flexibility and convenience of living in the heart of the action.
“It’s just central to everything,” she says. “I work in Barton so it’s a short bus trip away.”
