For the team behind some of Canberra’s most successful townhouse developments, Turner was a natural choice for their latest project.
Bellevue Building and DNA Architects saw a gap in the market for inner north downsizers who were ready to do away with the big backyards without compromising on living spaces.
“We were aiming at the retiree or the downsizer market because they’re really not catered for in the inner north area,” DNA Architect Ross Norwood said.
“Most downsizers are in the position where they really don’t want to downsize the size of the house, they want to downsize the size of the yard and they’re looking for good storage, preferably two living areas and three bedrooms, so when family or guests are staying, they can stay comfortably.”
Bellevue Building director Andrew Mills says Haig Sanctuary Living is the first new development to be built on the northern side of Haig Park.
“There’s not a lot of blocks left with this outlook,” Mills said.
“It’s made it attractive to us and our buyers. The outlook towards Haig Park and up to the city is just spectacular.”
The team will continue bringing their unique brand of quality downsizer options to the inner north with their next development in O’Connor, which is due for release later this year.
