The local primary school has opened, construction on the group centre is under way and beautiful homes are now complete in Coombs – the burgeoning Molonglo Valley suburb is well under way.

The suburb’s latest development, Odin, launches bringing more than 120 homes to the region.

With a mix of apartments and townhouses in various sizes, Odin was designed by Kasparek Architects and it’s sure to appeal to a mix of buyers.

It will be developed by Victory Homes, the team behind a spate of popular Canberra complexes including Stromlo Terrace in Wright and Evolure in Lawson.

For first home buyers, couples and families, it will provide more affordable options than the traditional freestanding house, according to Victory Homes general manager Martin Crnevic.

“A lot of thought has been put into making the apartments and townhouses functional so you could grow into them,” Mr Crnevic said.

The residences have been cleverly designed so there is no wasted space. The townhouses have large living areas, storage space and ample garaging. Two-bedroom apartments will also include two car spaces.

The surrounding green spaces have been incorporated into the design, which is seamlessly integrated into the extensive parks and playgrounds.

It is positioned directly opposite the pond and features unobstructed views towards Telstra Tower and the National Arboretum.

Just 12 minutes from the city, 10 minutes from Woden and 15 minutes from Belconnen, the Molonglo Valley is situated close to arterial roads, allowing an easy commute to all major employment hubs.

Its position adjacent to Stromlo Forest Park and close to walking tracks provides the quintessential Canberran lifestyle – the perfect blend of natural surrounds with city conveniences.

The development will include 96 apartments with one-bedrooms starting from $269,900 and two-bedrooms priced from $343,900. Townhouses come in a range of three and four-bedroom floorplans with prices starting from $484,900.

About 20 per cent of the development sold prior to launch and the display suite will open next week.

Features we love: Odin offers a huge variety of housing types. First home buyers content with a one-bedroom apartment, right through to families seeking a four-bedroom home are catered for. The breathtaking views are also a key feature.
