Eulara is the Sydney escape of Nestle Nigeria’s chief executive Martin Woolnough and his wife Shiree.

Largely rebuilt since it last traded in 2004 for $940,000, the two-storey house makes good on its position atop the escarpment with uninterrupted views overlooking Jamison Valley.

Sweetening its appeal, the Woolnoughs added the adjoining block in 2006 for $440,000, to create a 4300-square-metre retreat, landscaped across both titles and with a studio in a picturesque setting across the garden pond.

The regular luxury holiday rental is now listed with a $3.2 million asking price through Christie’s International’s Darren Curtis and Downer and Maher’s Annie Downer.

It is hoped to top this year’s local high of $3.2 million set in May for the Victorian Italianate residence Kooyong of technology business executive Richard Ferns and his wife Linda.
