Kalimna at Port Douglas is on the market for upwards of $7.5 million.

The founder of the Just Jeans Group, Craig Kimberley and his wife Connie have kicked off the sales campaign for their redundant trophy escape Kalimna.

The couple tested the pavilion-style mansion on the market in 2010 with $10 million hopes, but are now ready to meet the market with a price guide of more than $7.5 million.

The South Yarra local, now on the board of brand apparel company Gazal, first bought onto the oceanfront reserve in 1988 for $620,000, and added the adjoining block in 1993 for $530,000. Architect Christine Vadasz was then commissioned to design the trophy home.

Spread across nine interconnecting pavilions tiered on its hillside location and with views over the Coral Sea, it has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, formal and informal living areas, a commercial kitchen and teahouse pavilion overlooking the infinity pool.

Christie’s International’s Ken Jacobs and the Pink Company’s Tony McGrath have the listing.
