Robbie Williams is planning major renovations for a $60 million mansion he just bought in Miami.
The British singer recently scooped up an opulent waterfront estate with an 18-car garage and private elevator, according to the New York Post.
Williams purchased the seven-bedroom house in Coral Gables, Florida for $US40 million ($60.9 million).
He added in an extra $US5 million ($7.6 million) for the home’s furniture.
The house was built in 2016 and is part of an exclusive gated community with big-name neighbours like Pharrell Williams and Andy Garcia.
A dizzying array of luxury features are on offer in the property, from a walk-in wine cellar to a resort-style pool.
But Williams has plans for even more, according to builder Manny Angelo Varas.
The singer is planning a major extension to the tune of $US5 million ($7.6 million).
One of the most unusual features to come will be a floating padel court, Varas told The Post.
When completed, the contraption will look like a small tennis court floating on Biscayne Bay.
Floating sports courts are not unheard of. In Sydney, there is a luxury home for sale with a tennis court that appears to float on the harbour.
And an apartment on the Gold Coast comes with a rooftop pickleball court that appears to hover in the sky.
But Williams’ padel court is unique in that it will literally float on water.
Varas believes it will be the first residential floating padel court in the United States.
The Miami deal is one of several high-profile real estate moves Williams has made in the past few years.
In 2022, he sold a ten-bedroom Beverly Hills house to Drake.
Drake has since struggled to resell the Los Angeles mansion. He recently shaved $13 million off the price tag in a bid to attract a buyer.
