Roxy Jacenko has made headlines, this time in the property world.

The PR queen is “thrilled” to have sold her luxurious five-bedroom, five-bathroom family home at 67 Hopetoun Avenue in Sydney’s Vaucluse for a sum around $16 million, well ahead of its June 15 auction, to a young family from the area.

Listed by David Malouf of Highland Double Bay for $14 million, the tri-level abode comes with an epic “VIP glam room”, wine room, outdoor pool, gym and infra-red sauna.

Roxy previously told Nine that she’s “looking to move to an apartment while (husband) Oliver Curtis is based between Tasmania and Singapore for work”.

“Our current home is incredible but is too big for just the three of us, myself and children Pixie and Hunter.”

On the sale, Roxy tells Nine that she’s “made some amazing memories in the home with her children, so it’s nice to know it’s going to someone that will have the opportunity to enjoy all the wonderful facilities the home has.”

She went on to praise the collaboration between (interior designer and friend) Blainey North and JCORP builders that was “without a doubt a big factor in the wonderful result”.

“(Agents) David and Bill Malouf are a slick operation, it’s been the most seamless and professional experience I’ve had on the real estate front to-date.”

Roxy purchased the home just under five years ago for around $6 million and enlisted Blainey North to transform the home into a decadent space.

The interior aesthetic is certainly glamorous and described as “brutal decadence” by Blainey, with Calacatta marble detail, impressive joinery, sleek lines and a chic palette.

There is ample wall space to display statement art and multiple living areas to relax and unwind.

Standout property features are the epic “VIP glam room” with makeup stations and a hair washing basin, the wine room, cinema room, and outdoor entertaining area with pool.

An oversized walk-in wardrobe has allowed Roxy to display her impressive handbag and shoe collection, including her numerous Birkin bags.

Roxy’s home was scheduled to go to auction at 5.30pm on Thursday June 15.

Vaucluse is an affluent eastern suburb of Sydney, 8km north-east of the CBD. Domain’s latest data reveals the median price for a five-bedroom home in the area is $10.835 million.

Roxy made headlines in November last year when she announced she was closing her PR firm, Sweaty Betty PR, after an incredible 18 years.

She continues to look after The Ministry of Talent, where she represents social media influencers.
