Francesco Tripodi understands the need for space.

As the founder of Storage 2000, a storage facility in Adelaide, Tripodi recalls being instantly drawn to the oversized garage during an inspection of a Gulfview Heights property.

Back then, the garage at 24 Lispon Reach Road had enough space for nine parking bays under the house’s main roof.

It was ideal for the budding collector of prestige cars.

Over the past decade, Tripodi has been a serious collector. His current collection includes a Lamborghini, several Porsches and a Ford Raptor.

Today, there are five parking bays. The rest of the garage has been converted into a self-contained granny flat. 

As well as the roomy garage, the five-bedroom, three-bathroom property on almost 1000 square metres offered much more to Tripodi’s family.

“We’ve created countless family memories and hosted numerous gatherings with customers, suppliers, family, and friends.”

The home’s five bedrooms are spread across the property’s three levels.

Four bedrooms are upstairs, surrounded by a lofty living area and home office.

“The lower level opens the door to multi-generational versatility with an additional bedroom, study, kitchenette, and WC with scope to expand,” the listing states.

The fifth bedroom is listed as being the granny flat in the garage.

The Tripodis bought the property in 2009. After 16 years enjoying the neighborhood’s scenic views, they are looking to move on.

“We hope the next family creates as many wonderful memories as we have.”

The Lispon Reach Road property has access to local parks, reserves and nature trails.
