Canberra’s property market has had a big year, with unexpected twists and turns, but as current listings show, we’re not ready to call the year over yet.
While the clearance rate declined in recent weeks to 53 per cent on December 16, reflecting slowing market activity, buyers are undeniably still active and interested in purchasing a new home.
According to Allhomes data, auction results are slightly stronger than they were this time last year, which recorded a clearance rate of 49 per cent.
